Parks Victoria 2009 Kookaburra Awards ceremony was held on Saturday 16th May at the Sky High restaurant on Mt Dandenong in Melbourne
These awards are designed to
“Recognise and honour individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to the Victorian park system”
Friends of Chiltern Mt Pilot NP were one of 10 nominations in a category won by Friends of Kings Billabong.
This was another moment to reflect on the achievements of our group and a reminder that in the year 2000 Eileen Collins received the Kookaburra Lifetime Contribution Award
The Parks service and our Friends group were well represented at the ceremony
