“I caught this fellow sunning himself on a rock in the garden. It is a male Southern Rainbow Skink in breeding colours. Carlia tetradactylais the scientific name. They are restricted to a band across the north-east Victoria. I had trouble finding it in the reptile book, the reason being it was in breeding colour which was not well described. This fellow is spectacular.”
