Free Film – Night Parrot Stories

You are invited to a free film screening of Night Parrot Stories.

When: Friday 22 July 2016

Time: 6:30pm

Where: Albury Regent Cinema (Cinema 7)

Film maker, Robert Nugent, will introduce the film and answer audience questions at the conclusion of the screening.

In the remote deserts of Australia lives an elusive nocturnal bird called the Night Parrot. Virtually nothing is known of its ecology. It disappeared at the end of the 19th century. Searching for evidence of its existence became a preoccupation. Night Parrot Stories was filmed in all the locations where Night Parrots once lived, during a time when stories of extinction were everywhere. For more information about the film, click here

Information about Murray Local Land Services(LLS) Threatened Species and Biodiversity projects will also be available on the night. LLS staff will be available to talk about the Bush-stone Curlew conservation program and bird biodiversity in the Murray Region. Free biodiversity-related resources will be available on the evening.

There are limited seats available for this event and RSVP is essential by 20 July 2016. For more information and to RSVP, click here
