Dear Friends,

November Field Day

The attendees split into two groups with one proceeding to Bartley’s Block where about 800 Caper Spurge seedlings were removed. This weed needs to be monitored fairly frequently so that it does not go to seed and get out of control. The Vinca (Blue Periwinkle) area is also being carefully monitored and any seedlings that appear are removed. After weeding, this group explored the block and checked out the Coconut Ants. The second group went to the White Box Walk to weed and check markers. Both groups gathered at the Honeyeater Picnic Area to consume the usual bun.
